Genoa goalkeeper, Mattia Perin, has said Juventus talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo ‘is not arrogant’ and ‘a true top player, always there for everyone’.
The 27-year-old from Latina has kept three clean sheets in nine games since his return to Genoa, reclaiming the starting position, but he was only a few steps away from a move to Portuguese side Benfica last summer.
After becoming the third choice at the Allianz Stadium, Perin sought a new challenge and reveals how Ronaldo helped him during his projected move to Lisbon.
