Plateau Utd terminate Salawudeen’s contract due to indiscipline

 
The management of Plateau United Football Club of Jos has terminated the contract of former Nigeria U-20 national team defender, Aliu Salawudeen.
Salawudeen’s contract was terminated during the team’s training session on Tuesday morning due gross indiscipline and insubordination.
The player only joined Plateau United this season from Emmanuel Amuneke Academy, Lagos having featured for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA World Cup in Poland.
Media Officer of the club, Albert Dakup informed Sportinglife.ng that the player refused to obey a simple instruction from one of the coaches, something that did not go down well with head coach, Abdu Maikaba.
“This is not the first time the players is indulging in this acts of indiscipline. Unfortunately for him today, the head coach saw his reaction towards his assistants which did not go down well with him
“One of the assistant coaches explained that this is not the first time the boy is flauting simple instructions as his attitudes towards the coaches has been hostile.
“The decision to terminate Salawudeen’s contract was taken after the training session as coach Maikaba said their is no room for indiscipline in his team,” Dakup told Sportinglife.ng.
