Player of The Week Award: Musa gets N967,000, thanks fans

Al-Nassr forward, Ahmed Musa has received 10,000 (967,819.35) riyals for emerging the Player of the week following his hat-trick exploits on Matchday three that fetched his club the maximum three points in the Saudi
Premier League.

The Nigeria international who is already aiming for another hat-trick as Al-Nassr tackle Al-Hazm next
week was presented with the cheque on Monday night after their 1-0 victory over Al Taawoun which moved
them on the same level with Al-Hilal on 12 points from four matches. Musa was in action for the entire
game.

The award was quite significant for Musa as it was his first game with the Saudi club who thrashed Al
Qadisiyah 3-0 on September 19.

Al-Hilal’s Bafétimbi Gomis, Omar Al Somah of Al Ahli, Ittihad’s Al-Muwallad Al-Harbi and Jehad Al-
Hussain of Al Taawon were also nominated for the award.

After winning the weekly award, Musa would also be aiming for the Player of the month award which attracts 50,000 riyals.
