Playing in Saudi Arabia not good for Musa- Rohr

Super Eagles’ head coach, Gernot Rohr has confessed that he would have wished his team Captain Ahmed Musa is playing in Europe if he had his way.

The Eagles Coach is convinced that playing in Saudi Arabia is not helping the striker to give his utmost best for the team but the player has been pushing himself hard to help his team achieve success in tournaments.
Musa left Leicester City of England for Saudi Arabia to gain enough playing time which he has been enjoying in his Arabian Club but Rohr believes the Eagles Captain would have been explosive if he had been playing in one of the best leagues in Europe.

“Musa is a good Captain but playing in Saudi Arabia, we have to be honest it is not easy for him to play at the highest level always. He has always pushed himself to give his best for the team, that’s why I like him”, Rohr told SportingLife.ng.
