Plumptre, Ordega nominated for Saudi Women’s League POTM award

Super Falcons stars Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega have been shortlisted for the Saudi Women’s Premier League Player of the Month award. 

Ordega impressed with four goals and three assists in just three league matches for Al Ittihad Ladies. 

Plumptre, known for her defensive solidity, also made a significant attacking impact, scoring twice and providing three assists during the same period.

The Nigerian duo will go up against Al-Ahli’s Naomie Kabakaba, who found the net five times in three appearances.

Voting will end on Wednesday, April 16, and the award winner will be revealed shortly thereafter.
