Pogba dazed and out after ankle surgery

Paul Pogba posted a series of groggy videos from his hospital bed after having surgery on his ankle — and revealed he was worried he might drink his own “pee pee”.

The Manchester United midfielder, 26, put a series of videos on his Instagram where he admitted “I don’t look sober” after being drugged up.

Paul Pogba looked confused from his hospital bed as he shared a series of Instagram stories

Pogba shared a video of slices of bread he had been offered with a cup of what looks like apple juice behind the plate

He lifted up the bed covers to reveal a bandaged leg and winced, revealing moving was painful for his toes.

In a hilarious twist after grumbling about the food on offer at hospital — two slices of bread — the World Cup winner hoped not to confuse his urine for apple juice.

Groggy Poggy said: “Guys I’m making a video on Instagram, I don’t even know if I’m high or if I’m sober.

“Well, I don’t look sober.

“Just to let you know, don’t ask me if it went well, I don’t know.

“I’m still alive, that’s the good news. I’ll keep you updated.

“I’m a bit bumped up.

“After the operation, I’ve still got the smile, everything went well.

“They give me some things, I’ don’t even know, but it feels GOOD.

“I don’t think I even remember what I’ve done.”

Looking at the two slices of bread, he added: “It’s one thing I don’t understand, what do you want me to do with this?

“I can drink my pee pee, it looks like apple juice, fresh one.

“I think people told me that I look drunk. I didn’t drink alcohol, they give me some things on my arm, I don’t know what’s that.

“I woke up, I couldn’t lift up my leg and I was like ‘where am I, in Manchester? In Paris? In Guinea?”

“So I thought about my son, it takes me longer to put me to sleep.

“When I woke up, I saw a lot of people walking around.”

The ex-Juventus star had enjoyed a glamorous party for his son’s first birthday the previous day alongside wife Zulay.

The couple both wore bespoke Versace outfits, as did their one-year-old son

And he was still worried about how he looked when he came round in his hospital bed this morning.

After stroking his head in another clip, he added: “I need a haircut! A* you need to do something here, look at me!

“I need a haircut, so the best guy that can cut hair, let me know.”

The injury is expected to keep Pogba – who has been linked with a £160million cash plus player switch to Real Madrid – out for three to four weeks, according to United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
