PSG renew bid for Chelsea midfielder Kante

Paris Saint-Germain made an attempt for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante last summer.

Foot Mercato says PSG approached Chelsea about ferrying Kante back to France for the new season.

However, Chelsea shut down PSG immediately, refusing to consider losing the midfielder.

Chelsea management currently have plans to open new contract talks with Kante. His current deal runs to 2023.

Kante is now in his fifth year with Chelsea after arriving from Leicester City in 2016.
