PSG unsure over Navas’ fitness for UCL semi-final

Paris Saint-Germain have refused to rule Keylor Navas out of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday, August 18.

The goalkeeper was forced off with a hamstring injury in the second half PSG’s quarter-final victory over Atalanta on Wednesday.

“The examinations and MRI have confirmed a tear in the femoral biceps,” PSG said in an update on Keylor’s fitness.

“His condition will be examined again on Saturday but his involvement in Tuesday’s match is uncertain.”

Sergio Rico replaced the Costa Rican in the 79th minute against Atalanta and would play in his place should Thomas Tuchel’s No.1 not be fit for Tuesday.

PSG also expressed their optimism that Thiago Silva would be fit for the last four after he also suffered a hamstring injury against Atalanta.
