Qatar 2022 W/Cup Qualifiers: Eagles tackle Liberia’s Lone Star in Lagos
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will open their 2022 World Cup second round qualifying campaign against Liberia’s Lone Star on June 6 at the Teslim Balogun in Lagos, officials hinted.
Eagles coach Gernot Rohr revealed he has been keeping tabs on the Liberian national team.
“They are a young team, who recently lost 1-0 to Egypt and they are very defensive, so it won’t be easy to score against such a team,” the Franco-German tactician was quoted as sating in an interview on Elegbete TV.

Cape Verde and Central African Republic are the other teams in this group with the overall winners advancing to a final playoff to be decided on knockout basis against another group winner.
Meanwhile, Nigeria are expected to draw out a list of 50 players who they will prosecute the Qatar 2022 qualifiers.
