Nigerian midfielder, Ramon Azeez will always remember the famous goal he scored for Granada
at the Los Carmenes against Barcelona last Saturday.

The former Flying Eagles’ captain who scored his second goal of the season in four La Liga appearances was undoubtedly excited that he was part of the Granada side that inflicted a humiliating defeat on Barcelona.
The midfielder, after the game said, “I am very happy for the goal and for the work of the whole team.”
Azeez who was a member of the Super Eagles squad to the 2014 FIFA World Cup scored a 7.6 rating per whoscored.com; better than Lionel Messi, although the Nigerian played the entire duration of the match.
It has been five seasons since Granada last defeated Barcelona, the victory coming in La Liga at the 22,524 capacity Nuevo Los Cármenes.
Azeez had never scored in all his previous four encounters against the Blaugrana but he achieved that on the night he earned his first start for his new team.

Three minutes after his introduction for the Catalans, Arturo Vidal handled the ball in the area which Alvaro Vadillo fired past goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen for Granada’s second goal.
