Rangers pardon Ogbuke after lifting suspension

After a lengthy deliberation to consider the letter of apology sent by Rangers International F.C player, Onyedika Ogbuke, following an indefinite suspension placed on him for gross misconduct, management of the ‘Flying Antelopes’ have decided to lift the suspension order.

GM/CEO of the five time national F.A/Aiteo cup champions, Prince Davidson Owumi, while reacting to the
apology letter written by the former Super Eagles player said that a lot was taken into consideration
before lifting the indefinite suspension order.

“After receiving an apology letter sent to the management by Onyedika Ogbuke coupled with pleas from
concerned followers of the game and our teaming supporters as well as his team mates and coaches, we
came to a conclusion to lift the suspension placed on him. However, there must be some little sanctions
for him to understand the gravity of what he is been pardoned for,” said the former NPL chairman.

A part of the letter received from the fleet footed midfield dynamo read thus, “………I humbly refer to
the incident of Wednesday 14th September, 2018 ……. I hereby tender my unreserved apology for the
misbehavior I exhibited……”

Also speaking on the lifting of the suspension, team manager of the side, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku said,
“The cries for pardon from our teaming supporters and that of his team mates can’t be swept away. As a
listening management, we had to lift the suspension as we move as one family into the group stage of
2018 Aiteo cup in Kano. I believe that the move we made has served its purpose for the good of the
club.”
