Rape Allegations: Ronaldo to sue German magazine

Cristiano Ronaldo’s lawyer is planning legal action against German magazine Der Spiegel following claims by American woman that the footballer raped her in 2009.

Ronaldo’s legal representative Christian Schertz had branded Kathryn Mayorga’s accusations as  “blatantly illegal.” according to Reuters on Friday.

Schertz said the report in Der Spiegel is “an inadmissible reporting of suspicions in the area of privacy” and that he would be taking action against the publication on behalf of the 33-year-old Juventus forward.
