Real Madrid invite Bernabeu workers to match against Celta Vigo
Painters, bricklayers, cleaning staff and various other kinds of workers have grafted tirelessly to revamp the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in recent months.
Now, with the stadium set to reopen its doors for the coming LaLiga Santander fixture against Celta Vigo on Sunday, the club want to repay them for their efforts by inviting them to the match.

“We are working and, in a sanctuary like the Bernabeu, it is very good,” said one of the painters to Gol TV.
“We are going to watch the game because they have invited us. A nice touch. Something that [Atletico Madrid president] Cerezo did not do when we were at the Wanda [Metropolitano], who did not show any gesture or anything.”
