Released Arsenal defender David Luiz in Benfica talks

Agent of the released Arsenal defender, David Luiz, has commenced talks with Benfica on how to revive the player’s career.

Luiz played with Benfica between 2007 and 2011 before leaving for Chelsea.

Now he can return to Benfica. The parties are currently in negotiations.

Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has approved the deal, says Goal. Luiz will be offered a contract for the season.
