REVEALED: New Liverpool’s contract makes Salah highest paid player in club’s history

Liverpool have made Mohamed Salah the highest paid player in the club’s history.

Salah signed a new long-term deal with the Reds.

The Daily Mail says it will see him remain at Anfield until June 2025 on terms estimated to be close to £400,000 per week.

There had been suggestions Salah would seek to leave Liverpool this summer as he entered the final year of his current deal today.

But the Egypt international has now committed himself to the Reds for another three years.

Julian Ward, Liverpool’s Sporting Director, flew out with a delegation to Mykonos, where the Egyptian has been on holiday, to get the paperwork signed.
