Roberto Carlos dreams of EPL job after Chelsea move failed

Roberto Carlos is dreaming of coaching in the Premier League after missing out on experiencing it as a player.

The former Brazil left-back spent the majority of his career in Europe with Real Madrid, but he has revealed he could have joined Chelsea when he left Spain in 2007.

The deal, however, did not go through and Carlos went to Turkish side Fenerbahce instead.

The 48-year-old regrets not playing in England during his playing career and he hopes that one day he may get the chance to coach there as he is working on becoming a manager.

“The Premier League is one the best leagues in the world and of course I wish I had played in England during my career,” said Carlos.
