Rodgers has his say on Lennon exit

Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers has had his say on Neil Lennon’s Celtic resignation.

Lennon departed Celtic on Wednesday morning after almost two years in the job, initially taking over in the interim after Rodgers moved to City in February 2019.

Former City midfielder Lennon finished off the 2018-19 campaign, completing a historic treble of domestic trophies and won another trio in 2019-20.

Celtic were gunning for a record tenth-consecutive Scottish Premiership title this season but a resurgent Rangers, led by Steven Gerrard, are running away with the League with a massive 18-point lead over the Parkhead side.
