Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr on Wednesday celebrated the birthday of his son Emmanuel Rohr who turned 32 in France in the company of friends and family members.
The Franco-Gernan Coach told Sportinglife.ng that it was a special day for him and his family and by custom he doesn’t pick telephone calls on the day that he has devoted to his son.
“Sorry I didn’t pick your calls on Wednesday it was Emmanuel my son’s birthday. It was a special day dedicated to rejoice with him as a father and family members.
“Emmanuel clocked 32 years on Wednesday and we celebrated him. I was a happy father that day. Emmanuel is gradually following my footsteps as a coach. He is Coach for youngsters in Cap Ferret”, Rohr informed Sportinglife.ng
The Eagles handler also revealed that his son would be in the finals of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but he did not disclose if the young football coach would be assigned any duty to help the Eagles in the competition if Nigeria eventually qualifies for the continental football competition.
“Emmanuel will be at AFCON”, Rohr disclosed.

Emmanuel had spied Argentina in a friendly match against Spain prior to 2018 World Cup in Russia which Rohr confessed gave him technical insight into Argentina’s strength as at that time.
