Rohr hails Uzoho’s performance

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has praised the performance of goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho who
played his first match before Nigerians at the Port Harcourt Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Monday.

Uzoho made some brilliant crucial saves to protect the Eagles from conceding needless goals and Rohr
told journalists that the Deportivo La Coruna of Spain goaltender was very impressive in his home debut
and will still be further observed in subsequent matches.

“I want to state that Uzoho was very brilliant against DR Congo. It was his first match in Nigeria and
he gave a good account of himself. He will still be given more chances in future games,” Rohr told
journalists.
