The Coach had raised an eyebrow concerning the readiness of the Stadium’s facilities to host the International friendly between the Super Eagles and the visiting Uganda national team slated for Asaba on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

But what he saw during his inspection has giving him hope that the venue would be ready to host the friendly match. His major concern is putting final touches to the main pitch by the groundsmen.

When Sportinglife.ng put a phone call to Rohr he disclosed, “Right now I am with the state Commissioner for Sports. We are checking the main pitch, training pitch and other important facilities at the Stadium”, the Eagles Coach disclosed.

He, however praised the state government for the job done so far but wants works to be completed on the main pitch before the upcoming friendly.

“They (the state government) are working hard on making the Stadium ready for the friendly match. With what I have seen so far they have done a good job already. They still need to put final touches on the main pitch to make it ready. I believe it will be okay. We are motivated to do well in our match against South Africa in
Johannesburg”, Rohr disclosed.
