Rohr told SportingLife.ng exclusively that he will have a meeting with the coach of the U23 team, Imama Amapakabo and part of it will include what the senior national team can do to help the Olympic Eagles.

He stressed that even though no player has been decided yet, some of the players in the Super Eagles who are still within the age bracket could be asked to come to the rescue of the Olympic Eagles.

“Yes, we are doing everything to ensure that the U23 qualify for the next round,” Rohr told SportingLife.ng.

“I will have a meeting with the U23 coach who is also my assistant. We will look at the situation together and find a common ground. We are looking at adding a few players from the Super Eagles to help the team but no players have been agreed upon yet.”

The U23 must score more than two goals and hope that the Libyans didn’t score any if they are to qualify for the next round of the qualifiers.
