Although Ndidi has been recuperating but the Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr wants the Leicester of England midfielder to rest well and be ready for the Eagles first group match against Croatia at the FIFA World Cup in Russia on June 16.

“Except Ndidi, the best team will play against England on Saturday”, he disclosed to Sportinglife.ng from London.

Also the Eagles would take on Czech Republic in another grade A international friendly match in
Austria four days after Saturday’s friendly with two members of the backroom staff yet to be given visa by the Austrian embassy.

Rohr is now hoping that the backroom staff would be granted visa before they depart to Austria for the last friendly before flying to Russia.

Eagles physiotherapist, Nnaemeka Anozie and Equipment Manager, Chidi Ngoka, were denied visas by the Austrian Embassy in Abuja.

“I hope that all the staff will have visa for Austria. Two of them didn’t get it. Its painful but I
still believe that the Austria Embassy can rescind its decision “, Rohr disclosed to Sportinglife.ng.
