Romero learnt about Man Utd omission through social media

Manchester United fourth choice goalkeeper, Sergio Romero, learnt of his exclusion from the team’s Premier League squad on social media.

Romero was backup to David De Gea for the past five seasons.

But it appears he has fallen out of favour since the return of Dean Henderson from a loan spell at Sheffield United.

The Argentine was unhappy at not getting a transfer and has not been at the club recently.

According to ESPN, he found out he was omitted for Lee Grant on social media.

Romero was thinking he would at least be the third choice keeper in the Premier League 25-man squad.

But it appears he is free to find a club when the European transfer window reopens in the winter.
