Ronaldo scored the opener before Gonzalo Higuain sealed the win late on as the Turin club booked their spot in the last 16 by finishing top of Group D.

But the Portuguese superstar was left angry when confronted by a fan who ran onto the pitch and pulled him aggressively as he was caught by security.

Ronaldo was shaking hands with team-mates at the time as the fan appeared to be trying to get a selfie with a phone in hand.

He showed his displeasure by throwing his arm in the air in disgust and holding his neck as he walked away.

He then turned back towards the fan being escorted off the pitch by security and pointed to his head, questioning what he was thinking.

Gianluigi Buffon then hugged the attacker as he moved back on to congratulating team-mates on their win as the experienced goalkeeper seemed to encourage him to laugh off the incident.

Ronaldo’s big-money move to Juventus from Real Madrid came with a view to leading them to European glory.
