Ronaldo Forces Higuain to Dump Juve

Gonzalo Higuaín has accepted a loan move to AC Milan.
The striker has been Juventus’ top goalscorer for the past two seasons, scoring 32 and 23 goals in each season he has spent in Turin since joining from Napoli.

But he will now be loaned out to Milan, who are looking to bring in big names to take them back among the European elite having failed to qualify for the Champions League since 2013.

An agreement has been reached between AC Milan and Gonzalo Higuain’s representatives.

#ADThis loan move could also inrease the chances of Leonardo Bonucci returning to Juventus after just one season at Milan, with young Juve defender Mattia Caldara going the other way

With the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, it seems that coach Max Allegri is planning to use Mario Mandžukić in the support role to his new star, as Karim Benzema did at Real Madrid. With Paulo Dybala also fitting in somewhere, whether that’s as a number 10 or from the right, this leaves no room for Higuaín to fit into the starting line up.

He will therefore spend the season on loan at the San Siro. Milan have been in need of a striker for the past year after £38m signing Andre Silva flopped and Patrick Cutrone took his place.

Higuaín will be a significant upgrade on both of them, as well as former Blackburn striker Nikola Kalinić and will boost Milan’s chances of qualifying for the Champions Legaue hugely.
