Ronaldo is more skillful than Messi – Perisic

CRISTIANO RONALDO is more skillful than Barcelona rival Lionel Messi, according to Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic.

Ronaldo and Messi’s rivalry continues to develop despite the Juventus star leaving Real Madrid during the summer.

The Portugal international is shining for his new club, propelling Massimiliano Allegri’s side to the top of the Serie A table with eight wins from eight.

Lionel Messi, though, is faring better for Barcelona, blitzing 11 goals from as many appearances so far this season.
Inter Milan winger Perisic has been asked about the duo. And he feels Ronaldo is the more skilful of the two.
However, when it comes to dribbling, Perisic feels Messi is a class above.

“When it comes to free-kicks I’d choose [Christian] Eriksen from Tottenham,” Perisic said when asked to pick one player who flourishes at a certain aspect of the game.
“The player with the best vision is Kevin de Bruyne from Manchester City. I think the best finisher is Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

“When it comes to dribbling, [Lionel] Messi is by far the best player. The best header is Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid.

“In terms of winning the ball back I think the best player is Casemiro of Real Madrid. Then when it comes to skill Cristiano Ronaldo is the best.”
