Ronaldo urges Juventus boss Pirlo to snap up Real Madrid legend Ramos

Cristiano Ronaldo wants Juventus to push the boat out to sign Sergio Ramos next summer.

Ronaldo is good friends with the Real Madrid skipper from his time at the Bernabeu and he is pushing for Juve to land the 34-year-old.

Ramos gave Ronaldo a fitting tribute when he left Madrid for Turin two years ago, saying on Instagram: “Cristiano, your goals, your numbers and everything we’ve won together speak for themselves.

“You’ve earned a special place in the history of Real Madrid.

“As Madridistas we’ll remember you always. It’s been a pleasure to play alongside you, bicho. Big hug and good luck.”

Eduardo Inda revealed on Spain’s El Chiringuito programme that Ronaldo has recommended the Spain central defender to Andrea Pirlo.

“There is concern because the renovation has not been opened, and that is a problem. It would have to be solved already, ” Eduardo Inda told El Chiringuito.

“On June 30 at 11:59 p.m. you can leave and in January you can negotiate with whoever you want. To date there are no conversations,” the director of OK Diario said.

“He understands that he is not called, but the days go by.

“Mentally, it is not about leaving Real Madrid, but about continuing for two years and retiring from the club.

“There are two teams that have approached Sergio Ramos’ environment. The offers would be for two years or more, and they have talked to him about money.

“One is PSG and the other is Juventus. Cristiano Ronaldo is insisting that Ramos go there.”

Ramos’ deal with Madrid runs until June 2021 and he is free to talk to other clubs in January about a move.

He is apparently willing to offer him a lifetime contract which would see him into a coaching role once he retired.

“The idea of Sergio Ramos is, if you give the two years he wants, he would win around €15m or €16m and the idea of Real Madrid is not to do one thing nor the other, but a lifetime contract for Let him stay a lifetime, ” added Inda.

Talks with Ramos’ camp have taken place, with AS claiming in June that a one-year deal had been agreed.

That has never been confirmed and Ramos’ future remains unclear with a deal reportedly on the table.
