Sadiq joins Perugia on Loan after Rangers disaster

Nigeria international, Umar Sadiq has been shipped out on loan to Italian second division side, Perugia till the end of the season.

This was confirmed by the player’s parent club, AS Roma who felt loaning him to the second division side will help revive his career after a disappointing season with Scottish side, Glasgow Rangers.

With Rangers, Umar only played for 161 minutes in five matches which made it so easy for manager, Stephen Gerard to decide his fate.

Sadiq represented Nigeria’s U-23 side at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil which won bronze.
