Salah out of Eagles friendly

Liverpool and Egypt international, Mohammed Salah has been left out of next month’s international friendly against Nigeria’s Super Eagles billed for the Stephen Keshi international stadium in Asaba in Delta state.

This was revealed by the vice president of the Egypt Football Association (EFA) vice president Ahmed Shobier.

According to Shobier, Egypt national team coach Javier Aguirre will extend invitations to new players.

“Mohamed Salah will not play the Niger game in the AFCON qualifiers or the Nigeria friendly,” the EFA vice president said.

“Ahmed Hegazi will probably also be left out of the squad,” he added.

Egypt will play two games in March, they will start with an AFCON qualifier against Niger away from home, before travelling to Nigeria to face the Eagles four days later.
