Salisu signed a long time contract with Rangers – Okolie

Coach Salisu Yusuf will be in charge of Enugu Rangers ‘for a long time’ according to top officials of the club.

Super Eagles coach Yusuf has been seconded to Rangers by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after he served out a year’s ban for receiving cash from journalists posing as agents.

“It’s great to have a coach in the caliber of Salisu Yusuf. We thank the NFF for doing us this big favour,” Rangers spokesman Norbert Okolie said

“He will be with us for long as the sports commissioner announced because we cannot toy with his experience.

“He has told us he hopes to turn around the fortunes of Rangers alongside his assistant Mbwas Mangut.”

Yusuf has previously handled Enyimba, Lobi Stars, El Kanemi Warriors and Kano Pillars.
