Salisu’s mistake a lesson for Nigeria coaches–Ikpeba

Ex-international, Victor Ikpeba has insisted that the recent bribery scandal involving Super Eagles chief coach Salisu Yusuf should be a lesson to Nigeria coaches.

Giving the advice on his Twitter page, Ikpeba now an analyst on Supersport expressed shock at the development that has beamed the searchlight on Nigeria Football.

“I’m shocked at what happened to Salisu Yusuf. This should be a lesson to all our indigenous coaches,”
Ikpeba wrote on his Twitter handle.

Salisu was caught on camera receiving one thousand dollars from two men acting as football agents not knowing they were undercover reporters.

In the short video clip which was recorded in 2017, Salisu was asked to include two players into the Home Based Eagles for the 2018 Africa Nations Championship in Morocco, with assurances that he would be duly rewarded if he played ball.
