Sanchez blows own trumpet dreams clean sheet against Palace

Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez admits he’s surprised himself with how well he’s performed this season.

He has made 13 appearances for Albion in the league and kept six clean sheets.

But Sanchez admits he has been shocked with how well he has performed so far this season.

He told The Argus: “I am really happy about it. Obviously, from my own point of view, I did better than I thought I would do at the start because I thought maybe I needed more games to get to a good level. But concentrating has given me the results that I wanted.”

He added: “I like to live in the moment and think about the next game.

“The next game is Palace, so I will concentrate on training well and get ready for the game.

“Hopefully, I can keep a clean sheet or we win and then we look forward to the next match.”

Brighton will face Crystal Palace in continuation of their premier league clashes on February 22 and Sanchez is hoping he can step off the pitch happy to have done a good job and with a clean sheet to show for it.
