Sarri snubs Moses As West Ham Hold Chelsea

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has again failed to field Nigerian international, Victor Moses as they were held by West Ham United in a week 6 fixture of the 2018/19 premier league.

Moses who announced his retirement from the Super Eagles after the FIFA World Cup has not featured in Sarri’s plans since the Italian took over from former manager Antonio Conte this season.

In place of Moses, Sarri has opted for Brazil international Willian and Spanish forward Pedro in the wing back role.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s draw ended the Blues 100% run  in the new campaign, leaving the team with 16 points in 6 premier league games and third on the table with Liverpool and Manchester City above.

Both teams wasted so many chances in the first half.

Chelsea would have taken the lead from a David Luiz header which sailed over the crossbar.

Chelsea piled pressure for the goal which led to Sarri making substitutions in the second half with Morata coming in for Olivier Giroud in the 65th minute, Cahill replacing Rudiger in the 69th minute and Ross Barkley in the 79th minute.
