Schuster: Messi looks lost without ‘reference’ Suarez

Former Barcelona star, Bernd Schuster, is worried about the form of Lionel Messi.

Schuster believes the Argentine is missing former teammate Luis Suarez, after his departure for Atletico Madrid.

The German says Messi looked lost for Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

“Messi has me worried, I don’t know if his role is clear,” said Schuster. “There is no reference (a No9) ahead of him.”

He added: “Sevilla can be a clear candidate to fight in the LaLiga.”
