Swiss-born Nigerian goalkeeper, Sebastian Osigwe has expressed delight over SC kriens’ recognition for his contributions to the club.
The 24-year-old became the longest serving goalkeeper in the history of the club currently playing in the 1. Liga Promotion in Switzerland when he reached the centurion mark in appearances with over 30 clean sheets.
Sebastian has represented Switzerland at the U15,16 and 18 levels but he is determined to play for Nigeria at senior level, having featured for the Flying Eagles in the past.
‘It’s a great feeling to be the goalkeeper with most games in history of this club,’ he said during a short ceremony in his honour by SC kriens.
‘I will be happier if at the end of the season we get the promotion ticket.’
Sebastian has played in all SC kriens’ matches this season, keeping seven clean sheets in the process and looks set to help his team gain promotion as they currently sit top of the log with 54points.
