Super Eagles trio of Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and Chidozie Awaziem have been cleared for Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against Algeria at the Cairo International Stadium.
There were fears that the players may not be fit for the match after they were injured in last Wednesday’s quarterfinal 2-1 win against South Africa.
But the fears have been allayed by the team’s media officer, Toyin Ibitoye.
“Everyone is fit for the game against Algeria, “Ibitoye said
“We pray not to have any issues during our last training ahead of Sunday’s match,” he added.
The Algeria – Nigeria semifinal encounter will take place from 8pm Nigerian time.
