September 30 NFF Elections: Pinnick sure of victory

The Nigeria Football federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick has boasted that the September 30 NFF Elective Congress billed for Katsina state will be a landslide victory for him as he has done enough in terms of developing the game at the grassroot.

Pinnick who described himself as a “child of Destiny ” said getting re-elected as the NFF boss would not be a problem having done well in raising the bar of sponsorship and making the glasshouse semi financially independent.

He revealed that with his election into the CAF Executive Committee and an associate of FIFA President Gianni
Infantino, Nigeria has become a global figure in world football politics.

“I know that in CAF I have a voice and my voice is always respected. I can call the FIFA boss at any time he will answer and any request I made he will grant it. I have also influenced the appointment of some Nigerians into various committees of CAF and FIFA and more are coming,” said Pinnick.

The NFF President also revealed that his colleagues on the board have assured him of their total support from their zones in ensuring a landslide victory at the poll.

He added “If election is conducted now I can assure you, I will win easily because my board members are working to ensure that we all got re-elected and continue the good work we are doing. My mission is to take Nigeria football to a higher level and I am gradually archiving it. No NFF President in the past have been elected twice but I will break the jinx because I am a “Child of Destiny”. Pinnick boasted.
