Serie A: How goal-line clearance denied Sampdoria against Inter Milan
Sampdoria fought back twice to hold Inter and were only denied a winner by a goal-line clearance, in a game with two spectacular volleys and a magic Federico Dimarco free-kick.

Maya Yoshida drew level thanks to a lucky deflection off Edin Dzeko.
It was a battle of the volleys, Lautaro Martinez and Tommaso Augello both scoring stylistically spectacular finishes.
Mikkel Damsgaard thought he’d won it for Sampdoria, but didn’t count on a Danilo D’Ambrosio goal-line clearance.
