Serie A: Rugani, Matuidi free from coronavirus

Juventus duo Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi both tested positive for coronavirus, but the club have now confirmed that they have beaten the disease.

Rugani, in particular, hit the headlines as he became one of the first big-name footballers to receive a positive diagnosis.

“Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for COVID-19,” Juventus’ statement read.

“The tests came back with negative results.
