Former Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia is still interested in taking charge of the senior team which he left in 2016 after failing to qualify the team for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Siasia, 50, who has been on FIFA World Cup duty with Supersport in South Africa on Tuesday, welcomed the idea of rejoining the team on the show.
The ex-international who did not wish away the idea responded by smiling when he was asked.
“You will be returning to Nigeria and I must say so far it has been a wonderful experience having you around,”
“Hope you will be returning to Nigeria to handle the national team, possibly for AFCON 2019,,, smiles,, don’t you think?” Supersports Neil Andrews asked Siasia.
But Siasia who was all smiles replied; “Who says?, I don’t know anything, Infact I wanted to ask about who is planning to replace Amaju Pinnick,” – the embattled President, Nigeria Football Federation.
