Simon scores debut goal, Kalu provides assist in Bordeaux win

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon struck in the 79th minute for French side, Nantes as they defeated Amiens 2-1 at the Stade Credit Agricole de la Licorne on Saturday night.

It was a perfect start for the Nigerian who was scoring his maiden goal for the French club.

He scored the winning goal after coming in for Kader Bamba in the 73rd minute.

Khalifa Coulibaly opened scoring for the visitors in the 53rd minute, while Bongani Zungu equalised for Amiens in the 71st minute.

Elsewhere Samuel Kalu provided the assist for Hwang Ui-jo’s to open scoring for Bordeaux in their 2-0 victory away to Dijon at the Stade Gaston-Gerard. The goal was scored in the 11th minute.

Kalu was on until the 80th minute before being replaced with Yassine Benrahou.

Loris Benito added the second for the visitors in the 47th minute.
