Solskjaer: I want Ronaldo in the box and scoring goals

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he wants Cristiano Ronaldo ‘in the box and scoring goals for Manchester United.

The Red Devils announced on Friday that they had reached an agreement with Juventus to sign the 36-year-old superstar.

Asked by MUTV where Ronaldo would play, Solskjaer replied: “Cristiano has evolved as a player.

“He used to play wide right, wide left, upfront but he’s more of a centre forward for me at the moment, definitely.

“There will be games we play with two upfront or three upfront but I want him in the box, I want him scoring goals.”
