Solskjaer makes selection call on contract rebel Pogba

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won’t freeze out Paul Pogba if he runs down his contract this season.

According to The Mirror,  Pogba will not be frozen out at United by Solskjaer despite his refusal to sign a new deal.

Pogba is set to leave United on a Bosman for the second time when his contract expires in June.

The France midfielder has turned down United’s offer to discuss new terms and saw a potential move to Paris St Germain fail to materialise.

But Solskjaer insists Pogba remains central to his plans for the new campaign as he bids to land United’s first title since 2013.

Pogba played the second half of Saturday’s 4-0 friendly win over Everton at Old Trafford in his first pre-season appearance and Solskjaer has penciled him in for their opener against Leeds this Saturday.
