Solskjaer: Man Utd will play Istanbul Basaksehir to win

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said they’re going for the three points against Champions League opponents Istanbul Basaksehir.

The Turks had beaten United at home earlier this month.

Ahead of tomorrow’s tie, Solskjaer said: “We started well with two wins but we were disappointed with the last game against Istanbul. We need 10 points to go through but you may need 12 points.

“We are going to go into this game to try and win it, and to try and win it well with a good performance because we have games coming thick and fast. That defeat last time was a big blow.”

Solskjaer says he does not want his side to play with just “one style”.

“We want to attack quickly and be good on the break. When teams drop back, you need to break them down,” said Solskjaer.

“We showed that against Everton and we scored the winning goal on a counter attack. We want to dominate games and the players are developing.”
