South Africa throws lifeline to Olympic Eagles after Zambia victory
South U-23 national team on Tuesday beat Cote d’Ivoire by a lone goal in a group B encounter at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations going on in Egypt.
The victory now throws open the group ahead of Nigeria’s match against Zambia this evening.
South Africa who drew their opening match against Zambia now top the group with four points while the Ivorians are second with three points.
