South Africa vs Nigeria: Bafana Bafana NO threat to Eagles
Olympic gold medallist, Dosu Joseph has declared that South Africa is no threat to the Super Eagles ahead of their quarter-final clash at the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), SportingLife.ng can report.
The Bafana Bafana pulled off the biggest shock of the tournament when they eliminated hosts, Egypt 1-0 in the round of 16 clash while the Eagles struggled past defending champions, Cameroon 3-2 in a fascinating encounter.
In a chat with SportingLife.ng after the Super Eagles triumph, Dosu opined: “Getting to this stage is all about concentration and taking our chances once we get one.
“South Africa is no threat to us if we play as a team, with discipline, determination and dedication to win. Self believe is very important, less mistakes at the back and have full support from the midfield to attack.”
