Southampton reach agreement with Torino for defender
Southampton are close to announcing the signing of centre-back Lyanco from Torino, according to reports.
Lyanco, 24, will become the Saints’ sixth permanent signing this summer, who most notably acquired Adam Armstrong from Blackburn Rovers for around £15million.
The south Coast club sold star defender Jannik Vestergaard to Leicester City last week, and will swiftly replace him with the Torino man, says Fabrizio Romano.
“Lyanco will travel to England this weekend, once details and authorization will be ready. He’ll undergo his medical and sign with Southampton until June 2025,” Romano said.
“Torino will receive €7.5m guaranteed plus €2.5m add ons from Southampton.”
