Spanish star is hoping Tottenham make £30m bid to sign him today

Adama Traore is hoping that Tottenham Hotspur make a deadline day bid to sign him, the Daily Mirror report.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with Traore for the past fortnight, but have been unable to get a move over the line.

It is understood that Wolves want to keep hold of their Spanish winger.

However, Traore himself sees the move to Tottenham as one he wants to take.

As a result he is hoping that Spurs do make a permanent bid for him in the coming hours.

Traore apparently feels that if Tottenham bid around £30 million for him then he will be allowed to leave, but it could require an even larger fee than that to prise him away from Molineux, according to the latest report.

Traore was once again a threat in Wolves’ latest match, despite their defeat to Manchester United at the weekend.

The rapid wide-man was a real threat, and one run in the first half, where he set up a chance for Raul Jimenez, was particularly memorable.

His directness would add a new dimension to Tottenham’s attack.

But with Spurs also linked with signing a right-back, time is now running out for them to push through a deal.
