Sports Minister heading for war with NFF chiefs after Eaglets ouster
Nigeria’s performance at the FIFA U-17 World Cup where the Golden Eaglets crashed out in the Round of 16 could be reviewed if the words of the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare should be taken seriously.
In a tweet on Thursday, Dare blasted the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for not living up to its responsibilities which would have contributed to the team’s ouster from the competition.
H added that allowances and match bonuses of teams should be paid promptly.
He has therefore called for a total review of the federation’s administration at all levels.
Nigeria’s performance at the Under -17 World Cup calls for a review. Indeed, our football administration at all levels calls for a review. We must exact greater responsibility from those charged with our football administration. Timely payment of salaries and allowances vital.

It remains to be seen how the NFF would react to the minister’s comments as it concerns the payment of match bonuses and allowances.
