“I am grateful to the coach (Rohr) for considering me to be part of the team. I hope to do my best if given playing time. It is also an opportunity to learn from the established players like Alex Iwobi and Odion Ighalo. The players are very good strikers. Also it is opportunity to proof that Nigeria league is good like every other leagues in Europe. What we need here at home is encouragement,”.said Effiong.
He also stated that his invitation will equally motivate other players in our home league to be serious as opportunity can present itself any time.
